En sus or\u00edgenes el termino fue acu\u00f1ado por una mujer canadiense en 1997 que cre\u00f3 el Proyecto de \u201cC\u00e9libe Involuntario\u201d como una fuente de consuelo y apoyo para personas que experimentaban soledad, falta de reconocimiento y apoyo social permiti\u00e9ndoles un espacio para crear comunidad, expresarse y hablar de ello en virtud de las experiencias compartidas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No pretendemos brindar desde este espacio definiciones cerradas ni homog\u00e9neas respecto de la cultura incel ni de quienes se sienten representados por ella.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sin embargo, luego de su creaci\u00f3n, el ecosistema incel fue manifest\u00e1ndose en comunidades virtuales, integradas en su mayor\u00eda por varones, que fueron desarrollando una cultura propia. A trav\u00e9s de los foros incels fueron <em>in crescendo<\/em> en expresiones de misoginia, hostilidad, apolog\u00eda de la violencia hacia las mujeres y personas LGBTIQ+, deshumanizandolas y responsabilizandolas por su falta de interacciones sexo-afectivas, llegando incluso a promover o realizar actos de violencia extrema.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Acercamos una selecci\u00f3n de investigaciones e informes de distintos pa\u00edses sobre el neologismo incel.
